When did Omni Wellness open?
Omni Wellness opened its doors in August, 2009. Omni was founded by Dr. Scott Andersen, DC, and Momoko Uno, L.Ac.
How much do you charge for a session?
Charges for a session with an Omni Wellness practitioner vary based on the nature of the service and the individual practitioner. The fee for some services (for example, massage and skincare) is typically based on the length of the treatment. Many services have a different fee for a first time visit versus a follow-up visit. And some practitioners make use of a sliding scale, depending on whether or not the client has insurance coverage for the specific type of treatment. Just call the front desk for details at 212-777-1318.
How long does a session last?
The length of a session with an Omni Wellness practitioner will vary based on the client’s medical condition, the nature of the service, and the specific practitioner. Often, the first session is longer than follow-up visits. In general, chiropractic treatment lasts 30 minutes, while acupuncture is typically one hour. Message therapy and coaching sessions may last from 30 to 90 minutes. Please call the front desk for details at 212-777-1318.
Does Omni Wellness accept insurance?
Many Omni clients are covered for our services by their insurance, but everyone’s situation is, of course, different. Please click here for more details. [NOTE: this clickable link will go to a special Insurance sub-section of the website]
What forms of payment are accepted?
This again depends on the practitioner, but in general we accept credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash; call the front desk for details at 212-777-1318.
What’s the easiest way to book an appointment at Omni Wellness?
It all depends on who your practitioner is – some book only through our front desk during office hours, while others will book appointments via your calling their cell phones or even via email.
Many practitioners must be booked directly – please click here for their contact information.
Also, you can book many practitioners directly through the Omni Wellness online booking page – click here to book online
What hours is Omni Wellness open?
Our front desk is open from 11 am – 7 pm, Monday through Friday. However, many of our practitioners see patients as early as 8 am and as late as 9 pm, and some practitioners have weekend hours at Omni.
How do I contact Omni Wellness outside of office hours?
Some practitioners will give you their personal cell number and you can contact them as needed.
When should I arrive for my appointment?
In general, please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your stated appointment time. For your first visit, though, we require you to arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to fill out the initial paperwork.
What if I’m running late for an appointment?
If it happens during weekday office hours, just call the front desk (212-777-1318) to let them know, and they will alert your practitioner to the delay. For evening and weekend appointments, please try to arrive on time, since there may not be any way to reach your practitioner (unless he or she has provided you with their cell phone number).
